Attribution comes first
Every aggregated story identifies its source and links to the original reporting. Source bylines and image credits are shown when provided. Publisher logos identify the source; inclusion does not by itself imply a partnership or endorsement.
We may also publish original articles or add stories manually. We distinguish our own reporting from linked publisher coverage through its source and byline. A source’s exclusive is not described as a Showbiz Spy exclusive.
AI and automatic publishing
Sources are checked automatically. AI may rewrite supplied headlines and produce concise summaries; automated checks help select and format stories. This does not mean a person has reviewed every item. Manual editing and corrections are available.
Our aim is to reflect the source faithfully, retain attribution for claims and avoid adding unsupported facts. AI and automation can fail. A linked report remains the place to read full context, evidence and later updates.
How the feed is ordered
Latest is ordered by the dates used for the stories. Following limits it to your selected publishers. For you uses freshness, follows and variety, plus recent opens if learning is enabled on your device. Reaction counts are reader responses, not a verification score.
The archive keeps dated headlines discoverable. An old headline is not a new confirmation of its claims. Coverage and available images vary; we do not guarantee a complete record of every publisher’s work.
Advertising and commercial interests
Promotional placements are labelled as advertisements, including the Place Keys promotion. Place Keys and Showbiz Spy are operated by Incentively. Advertising does not turn a publisher’s story into our exclusive, and a publisher’s presence in the directory is not a recommendation to buy a product or subscription.
Corrections and complaints
Email an@incentively.co with “Showbiz Spy correction”, the Showbiz headline or page, the source URL, the point you dispute and supporting information where available. Please distinguish an error in our headline or summary from an error in the source reporting.
We assess the concern and may correct, clarify, remove or temporarily withhold an item. If the underlying report needs changing, the publisher may also need to be contacted. We cannot amend another publisher’s page. For an unresolved concern or decision review, reply with the earlier reference and the reason you disagree.
Images, copyright and privacy
Source pictures may be downloaded, optimised and hosted by Showbiz Spy rather than hotlinked. Hosting a copy does not transfer copyright. Publication names, marks and images remain the property of their rights holders.
To raise a rights or privacy concern, identify the material and URL, explain your connection to it and the action requested, and give a contact address. You do not need to send unnecessary identity documents. We will review the concern and consider correction, attribution, restriction or removal as appropriate. See Contact & corrections.
